PC Manufacturers Step Up Entry Into 3C Stores

(June 12)--BenQ recently authorized Gome Group to become its national exclusive retail 3C store for its PC products, and the latter group announced that the first BenQ PC products will enter 500 stores across China in the middle of June in the first stage and will then be gradually introduced to another 700 stores. At the end of 2007, Gome’s store also welcomed Dell’s products after the company cooperated with Suning Appliance Co., Ltd. on the sales of its notebooks and desktops at its retail stores. In the same framework, Hasee Computer Co., Ltd. announced that it will soon enter Suning’s stores. All of these moves indicate that PC manufactures are now stepping up their efforts to enter 3C stores.
