Gome Starts New Campaign for Exchanging Old Mobiles with New

(May23)--Gome Appliance Co. Ltd. recently announced that it will start a campaign for the exchange of old mobile phones with new at more than 1,200 of its stores across China in a bid to establish a green industrial chain for mobile phone consumption. Sun Yiding, general manager of Gome Communications Co., Ltd., said that Shanghai Sequel Technologies Co., Ltd. will be in charge of the disposal and recycling of the reclaimed mobile phones. During the campaign, mobile phone owners can exchange their old mobile phones for a cash amount to be used for the purchase of new devices on condition that the devices themselves and their spare parts pass inspection by Gome’s experts.
